Taking it apart would really be a last resort, but it's actually not as radical as it sounds with a box of this scale. Also, being that these were almost always behind a screen the fit and finish is a far cry from "furniture grade".

I've been wanting to go for a couple of years now, and I thought I had convinced Dennis Had to do an exhibitor room there, but he got turned off by some interactions with the powers that be, so I just let it drop. Right now the answer is no.... :-(

Would this make you look twice?

I can't imagine what just the added wind resistance would do for the handling and fuel economy, and the torn rotator cuff and herniated disc from hefting it up there wouldn't be much fun either.

You've got a good memory Tom....Might actually fit, but it's gonna be close....

I find the grab bar and 6" (yes those are 6") wheels to be very helpful. You tilt 'er back, balance it on your shoulder and yer good to go.

The people on the other side of the ravine like them also.

Nice Cal! I love how high end speakers sound outside--with no room/wall reflections and many less acoustical issues to interfere with them. When my (rock) band performs outside, the sound onstage is crystal clear. Inside certain (usually smaller) clubs, it can get so muddy onstage I'm playing more by "radar" than by what I can audibly discern......

I agree with you 100%. I've never heard a system sound like the simplexes and large format horns outside on the driveway....
